New Continuity of Care Product Overview
This clear chart summarises the products available from Sumed for pressure ulcer prevention. In many cases, care that is taken whilst a patient is sitting in a wheelchair or lying on a bed isn’t continued on all surfaces which can lead to the formation of preventable skin damage. Patients are particularly vulnerable when bathing, toileting and hoisting, and when in contact with other hard surfaces.
The Pressure Area Care categories available from Sumed are extensive including Commode Cushions, Bathing, Positioning Supports, Back Supports, Heel and Elbow Protection and Adaptive Pads.

PMG 2012

PMG run an annual National Training Event and conference which took place this year on 11th-13th April at Warwick University. There was a full programme of excellent speakers and workshops as well as poster presentations and an extensive exhibition area. This year Sumed® gave the opportunity for one person to win a FREE delegate place for next year’s conference.
The lucky winner was Emily Wing, Occupational Therapist from Blatchfords in Leicester. Unfortunately Emily was back at base working on the Friday when the draw was made so the prize was kindly received on her behalf by Caroline Dejardins, Service Manager from Blatchfords in Leicester (see above left). The trade exhibition was an excellent opportunity to show off our full product range including Flowform® Ultra 90 and Primenest® 2, as well as the new HD covers for ROHO® Hybrid Elite® Cushion and ROHO® QUADTRO SELECT®.
