Proud to be working with Nicci Aylward-Wotton

We are proud to be working with Nicci Aylward-Wotton, bringing the technologies to the community, and reducing the risk of pressure ulcers.

The work that Nicci Aylward-Wotton has been doing in Cornwall, with the Foresite PT system, has made its way to The Health Foundation website: http://www.health.org.uk/newsletter/four-projects-testing-innovations-improve-care-older-people. Her work is the first in an article of four projects about innovations to improve the care for older people.

University of Southampton Education Day

On Wednesday 12th April, we ran an education day at the University of Southampton. 

The day included wonderful presentations from Tissue Viability Nurse of the Year 2016, Nicci Aylward-Wotton, and Lecturer in Rehabilitative Engineering, Dr Peter Worsley.

The afternoon portion of the day including product demonstrations of the Foresite PT from Xsensor. 

Overall, the day received very positive feedback, from the attendees.

Patient Safety Conference at University of Salford

This week we attended the University of Salford Patient Safety Conference. 

We met many interesting people, and shared insights into pressure prevention and monitoring. Focussing on the Foresite pressure mapping systems.

Nicci Aylward-Wotton's Presentation at World Union of Wound Healing Studies Next Tuesday

If you are attending the 5th Congress of the World Union of Wound Healing Studies next week in Florence, we recommend catching the short oral presentation that will be given by Nicci Aylward-Wotton (Tissue Viability Nurse of the year 2016).

Her presentation entitled "Can Xsensor ForeSite PT Facilitate Patients' and Carers' Decision Making in Pressure Ulcer Prevention in the Community Using Continuous Pressure Monitoring?" will be hosted during session 2C in Hall Raffaello, on Tuesday September 27th, between 2:00pm and 6:00pm.

Today is the first of a week full of sessions across the country, featuring Bart Van der Heyden (Physical Therapist). His talks involving the Foresite SS pressure mapping system demonstrate the peak pressure points that could easily develop into pressure damage.

Fascinating pressure imaging workshops

Many thanks to Bart Van Der Heyden, who delivered a series of fascinating workshops last week on ForeSite SS and the benefits of pressure imaging when selecting seating products.

Sessions were held at Salford, Surrey, Cheltenham, Plymouth & West Yorkshire and the delegates found them both intersting and informative.
