SUMED Ultra 90 Cushion
The Ultra 90 cushion is constructed of a button welded module contained in a foam box. The box is strengthened by use of a thin cotton material and this assembly is then encased in a 'platilon' cover, to provide waterproofing and an outer cover. The use of stretch material is important to eliminate shear. As the outer cover "gives" so much more readily than the PU of the System 93, the module works far more efficiently. It is recommended that towelling is used where possible.
Obviously, as it is the module that does the work, the more that is on top of the cushion, the less effective it will be. Beware of the favourite pillow being put on top!

The product can be used any way up or round, so it is user friendly. It needs no maintenance, other than routine washing of the cover.
